Welsh singer Aled Jones, also known for TV appearances on ITV's Daybreak and the BBC's Songs of Praise, has been named ambassador for The National Foundation for Youth Music.

Jones commented 'Learning to sing and perform in public really helped to develop my confidence as well as my musical skills so I know how powerful it is to support disadvantaged young people as they explore and develop their creativity in making music'.
